Why retreats matter more than ever

Four days ago, I announced the first date for my 2026 retreat - and it sold out within days.

I’ve hosted many retreats over the years, but this one feels especially significant. It’s centred around confidence and visibility, two qualities so many of us are being called to reclaim. I’ll be co-creating the experience alongside an incredible professional photographer, capturing those moments when someone finally sees themselves differently - often for the first time in years.

When I saw the spaces disappear so quickly, it wasn’t just excitement I felt. It was confirmation.

Confirmation that people are hungry for spaces that allow them to slow down, reconnect, and feel safe enough to simply be.

The world feels noisy - and people are craving depth

We live in a time of constant exposure. We’re visible all the time - online, at work, in our communities - yet so few people feel truly seen.

That’s the paradox of modern life: hyperconnectivity without genuine connection.

Retreats are the antidote to that.

They strip away the noise, the pressure, and the performance.

They invite you back to yourself - to your values, your truth, your voice.

Confidence isn’t about being louder

In my work, I’ve learned that confidence isn’t about becoming more or doing more. It’s about allowing yourself to be visible as you are.

To speak, create, and live from a place of alignment rather than expectation.

During retreats, something powerful happens: people soften. The masks drop.

They begin to inhabit their own presence differently.

And in that stillness, they start to recognise their own strength.

A growing collective need

The fact that this retreat sold out in four days isn’t just a business milestone - it’s a mirror. It reflects how deeply people are yearning for spaces that feel real, nourishing, and human.

I believe this is where leadership and personal growth are heading - towards honesty, embodiment, and belonging.

Retreats give us a place to practise that.

So yes, I’m thrilled that my 2026 retreat sold out so quickly. But more than that, I’m hopeful.

Hopeful that this shift towards deeper connection is only just beginning.

Here’s to a world where visibility feels safe, confidence feels natural, and success is measured by how fully we live in alignment with who we are.
